The utility replacement and drainage rehabilitation project for Phase 3C-Area 2 is continuing and should be completed in 2008. 

The project area consists of:
Edison Avenue from Broadway Avenue to Evans Avenue
Willard Street from Jackson Street to Fowler Street
Franklin Street from Central Avenue to Fowler Street
Dora Street from Central Avenue to Fowler Street
South Street from Roya PAlm Avenue to Fowler Street
Central Avenue from Edison Avenue to South Street
Jackson Street from Edison Avenue to Willard Street

PROGRESS REPORT 

Willard– Complete except for main tie in and final lift on

small portion of road. Final lift is scheduled for Thursday - weather

permitting.

Franklin – All utilities are complete – pending final lift on

Thursday – weather permitting. Water mains pending tie in.

Dora – Directional drill and sewer installation are

complete. Water main is pending.

South – Directional drill is scheduled for next week.

Please keep in mind this phasing schedule is a tentative schedule developed for planning purposes.  This
schedule may vary depending on the actual condition of underground utilities, delivery of materials and equipment and weather conditions.  Unforeseen issues may require extra time during construction. 

 Once construction starts, the contractor will generally have 90 days on each block to produce a dust-free drivable surface.  A dust-free drivable surface consists of a limerock base with a weather sealer.
